Day 01: KILIMANJARO AIRPORT – ARUSHA
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport you will be met and transferred to Arusha. Overnight at the Arusha hotel. BB
Day 02: ARUSHA - KARATU
After breakfast stay at leisure.
Lunch at the Arusha hotel.
Continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Gibb’s farm.
Day 03: KARATU – NGORONGORO
With lunch boxes, descend down the crater for a full day tour. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge
Day 04: NGORONGORO - SERENGETI
Depart for Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge.
Lunch at the Lodge in Serengeti.
Evening game drive in Serengeti Park.
Dinner and overnight at Olakira Tented Camp or similar
Day 05: SERENGETI
Morning and afternoon game drive still in Serengeti Park.
Meals and overnight at Olakira Tented Camp or similar.
Day 06: SERENGETI - MANYARA
Depart for Lake Manyara. Arriving in time for Lunch at Manyara Serena Lodge.
Evening game drive in Manyara Park.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 07: MANYARA – ARUSHA – KILIMANJARO AIRPORT
Drive back to Arusha arriving in time for lunch, afternoon stay at leisure (walk around Arusha town, visit the local market).
Evening drop off at the airport for your departure flight.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar
On day one of your Zanzibar tour, you take a ferry from Dar es Salaam to the legendary Spice Island of Zanzibar, where you will spend 3 spectacular nights.
Zanzibar is an island steeped in history and tradition, and was one of the major starting points for most East African explorers in their journey to find new land.
Please Note: Accommodation and food on the island is at the client's own expense, but a trip leader will accompany clients to the island and will be able to book accommodation and island tours for them.
Days 2 & 3: Zanzibar
Zanzibar offers a wealth of experiences, attractions and activities for guests to enjoy during this tour. Visit the cobbled and charming streets of Stone Town, and area that still retains its Arabic influence of the past.
Zanzibar is probably most famous for its spices, and tours around a spice plantation can be arranged. Other tour options include trips to the nearby Prison Island, or exploring the island on the back of a motorbike.
Day 4: Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Leaving Zanzibar on day 4 of your Zanzibar tour, you take a ferry back to the mainland for an overnight in Dar Es Salaam. Dinner is included.
Day 5: Dar Es Salaam to Arusha, Tanzania
Departing from Dar Es Salaam on day 5 of your safari in Tanzania, you travel through the lovely countryside to Arusha. On your way you travel past the Pare and Usambara Mountain ranges before driving through Moshi, the base for Mount Kilimanjaro climbing expeditions.
Weather permitting, you might be lucky enough to catch of glimpse of this spectacular mountain. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.
Day 6: Arusha to Serengeti National Park (optional), Tanzania
Arusha is a wonderful town situated at the base of Mount Meru, and is the starting point for your optional excursion to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. These excursions are conducted locally in 4WD safari vehicles. Depending on your optional excursion, you will be away from your campsite for one or two nights.
If you take the two night/three day option, you depart Arusha in the morning and drive to the Serengeti National Park. This tour takes you through the Maasai town of Mtu Wa Mbu and up into the Ngorongoro Reserve for a glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater, before descending into the plains of the Serengeti.
This area is abundant is plains game, and the afternoon will be spent viewing these creatures before setting up camp in the heart of the Park. Breakfast, lunch and diner is included.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
A full morning is spent on game drives in the Serengeti on day 7 of your safari in Tanzania . Once you return to camp, you pack up for your journey towards the Ngorongoro. En route (time permitting) you will have the option of visiting the Olduvai Gorge, or a Maasai village. From there the tour travels up to the Ngorongoro Crater's edge to set up camp for the evening.
For those taking the one night/two day option, you will be fetched from Arusha in the afternoon and transferred to Karatu for the evening. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha, Tanzania
The Ngorongoro Crater is a natural wonder, and home to nearly all types of African animal, including Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Lion, and plains game. After spending a full morning in the Crater, you return to your campsite near Arusha for another night. Both optional excursions will follow the same schedule today. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.
Day 9: Arusha to Namanga, Kenya
After spending the morning at leisure, you get the chance to explore the snake exhibits at the campsite in Arusha. You can also explore the craft markets in town or stop at the bakery for some hot coffee.
Lunch will be enjoyed just outside of town, followed by another 120 kilometres north to the Tanzanian/Kenya border town of Namanga. The tour camps at Namanga on the Kenyan side of the border. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.
Day 10: Namanga to Nairobi, Kenya
Today your tour travels the final 180 kilometres north to the capital city of Kenya, Nairobi, arriving in the morning. On arrival in the city, your tour will continue to the Boulevard Hotel to allow passengers to disembark there, and then continues to the campsite to end the trip. Breakfast is included.
